- Fees for initial assessment and therapy sessions will be agreed prior to commencement. Invoices for therapy sessions are payable within 7 days of the invoice date. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, or BACS (see bank details below).
- Therapy sessions are payable within 7 days of the session unless previously agreed with the therapist. Blocks of therapy offering a discount must be paid for in advance following negotiations with the therapist.
- Late or non-payment
After 7 days, a reminder is sent that the payment is late. If the invoice is not paid within a further 7 days services may be suspended and a late payment fee will be charged.
Schools and Local Authorities – If payment is not made within the terms set out in the contract, a late payment charge will be made. Daily interest will also be added, at the statutory rate, whilst the invoice remains unpaid. - Additional tasks, such as report writing, attendance at meetings etc. will be charged at the hourly rate negotiated with the therapist.
- Cancellation – There is no charge for sessions cancelled within 24 hours. If the therapist is unable to attend an appointment, the maximum possible notice will be given and the appointment will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.
- Data Protection – Personal information is held and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Separate consent is gained in relation to this below.
Voice recordings may sometimes be recommended during assessment or therapy sessions. These can act as an essential part of the client’s case notes and provide a useful baseline to track therapy. This data will be held and processed in accordance with the GDPR.
